Why New Zealand?
After collecting information on internet and at travellers who already visited the country we came to a simple answer: »The country has an amazing nature, friendly people and is a paradise for cycling.«You can read more about it on web pages: www.newzealand.com, www.experiencenz.com, www.ginini.com/nz.
For travelling with bicycles we decided because we like cycling and we like taking up new challenges. We believe it's a best way to experience nature and journey on a more genuine and adventurous way. Because we are not exactly professional in cycling already preparations were quite a challenge which we went through successfully and learnt a lot from it.

Route plan
Our journey will begin in Auckland on the North and end in Christchurch on the South island. We don't have a detailed plan between cities because we'll make this kind of decisions as we'll go. In general we plan to cycle through both islands from the north to the south. Only if really necessary we'll also use public transport.
